Podcast Episode 5 – Partner Reading – reading with peers as a strategy

Let’s talk about reading with peers.  Letting children not only choose what they read, but WHO they read it with can be very powerful.  It’s highly motivating and children love having that little bit of control over what they are doing.  And reading with their friends is an excellent technique in any comprehensive reading program.  This is perfect for Kindergarten, First and Second grade classrooms.
